Interventional Radiology (IR) is an important advance in patient care. VIA physicians specialize
in minimally invasive, targeted therapies performed with imaging guidance. IR therapies are easier
for the patient because they involve no large incisions, less risk, less pain and shorter recovery times.
VIA physicians are the area’s leading providers for IR and pioneered its use in Greater Cincinnati

IR procedures are an advance in medicine that replace traditional, open surgery. They are performed with
